The Power of Eye Contact – Make Someone Fall in love with you!
A study conducted in 1989 assures that simple eye contact could make a person fall in love with you (Kellerman, Lewis, and Laird). In this study two opposite sex strangers were asked to gaze into each other’s eyes for two minutes, which in some cases, was enough to produce passionate feelings for each other. Eye contact is a powerful stimulator of love and affection. This is because when you look someone directly in the eyes, his/her body produces chemical called phenylethylamine that makes the person feel in love. This is why if you want to make someone fall in love with you, one of the first thing you should do is to look into his/her eyes.
Specifically, where your date looks at you could indicate whether love or lust is in the cards. The new study found that eye patterns concentrate on a stranger’s face if the viewer sees that person as a potential partner in romantic love, but the viewer gazes more at the other person’s body if he or she is feeling sexual desire. That automatic judgment can occur in as little as half a second, producing different gaze patterns.
Some recipients of sustained eye contact, even when it is soft and loving, may shy away. It may feel like an interruption to their isolation. Yet even in their discomfort, they will feel your love as something special and warming. They may be yearning inside to be more at ease with such intimacy.
Your sensitivity as a Love Master knows this and gives them the perfect amount of eye contact – being sensitive to their comfort level.
The eyes have been regarded as the mirror of our mental states. St. Augustine famously called the eyes “the windows to the soul”; Descartes argued that there is no passion that some particular expression of the eyes does not reveal. Consistent with this belief are findings indicating that adults with large eyes are perceived to be more honest. (This can lead to a favorable bias toward people who have baby faces or attractive faces—both of which are characterized by large eyes.) The eyes are also important components of our physical appearance, to the extent that if we wish to conceal our identity in a picture, we often do so merely by blocking out the eyes. The emotional significance of gazing is also expressed in the belief that an “evil eye” can hurt us and in the custom of wearing the veil. For similar reasons, many dealers wear dark glasses to conceal their responses.
Melissa Manchester – Through The Eyes Of Love Lyrics
(Theme from Ice Castles)
Please, don’t let this feeling end
It’s everything I am
Everything I want to be
I can see what’s mine now
Finding out what’s true
Since I found you……………………
